Connection between the physical and our inner landscape is integral to all my work; I am interested in what happens when a place dissolves into atmosphere and becomes the language of emotion and memory.
This collection of paintings is a tribute to the British Isles, specially Dartmoor, an intimate response to moments, light and dark, how it transforms the landscape and, my response within it.
The vast wild expanse of Dartmoor's remote landscape, holding a truly special place in my heart and brush. Shifting Light alters the atmosphere, swinging between vibrant and joyous to ominous and awe inspiring. This new collection of paintings is a direct response to these moments.
