Autumn Wind

Visual memories of family holidays.

Blustery days would be spent walking along cliff tops that looked dangerously high to me as a young child, perilously dropping away into frothing seas - intriguingly enticing and fascinating. The colours and contrasts between dark dramatic rocks against muted shades of blue and grey/green as waves bashed thunderously against the shoreline and rocks.

The enormity of the sublime space is intermingled with memories that glow from within.

Second image shows the painting framed and in situ.

Oil on a wooden panel framed in a light wooden float frame.
